09-11-12 - I just want to talk about this.  We’re talking about a Korean pop star who has been around for over a decade.  Psy.  We’re talking about him.  On the Ellen show.  Dancing with Britney Spears.  Like.  Like what is actually happening.

He introduced himself with such a calm and composed manner.  My favorite part was when he stopped Ellen from making Britney take off her heels because it’s better to - “Dress classy and dance cheesy”.  A sincere kpop star who broke into America not because his label was pushing for some ~American breakthrough or because he changed his music and style for the US market.  He is just being himself - the same guy, the same artist that he’s been for 10 years in Korea.  Fun music, fun videos.  He’s an actual physical representation that you don’t have to change who you are to make your dreams come true.

A fun dance seems to help though.  :)
